SPOT Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
A maximum of 18 scholarships are available for the cohorte 2026/2027 for outstanding students worldwide (from EU and non-EU countries, whether associated with the programme or not).
Please note that previous recipients of an Erasmus Mundus scholarship are not eligible.
SPOT NDICI Scholarships (Neighbourhood, Development, and International Cooperation Instrument)
For scholarships are available for the cohorte 2027/2028, and five for 2026/2027 and 2028/2029. These are designated for students from the EU neighbourhood (see more).

Please note that previous recipients of an Erasmus Mundus NDICI scholarship are not eligible.
SPOT Scholarship Amount
Recipients of any of the scholarships will receive €1,400 per month for up to 24 months (the full duration of the programme).
The consortium may offer a pre-payment of €2,400 to cover travel and settlement costs, followed by a monthly grant of €1,300 over 24 months.
These merit-based scholarships are awarded to high academic achievers. However, the consortium reserves the right to distribute fewer scholarships if applicants do not meet the required academic standards.
Special Provisions for SPOT Scholarship Holders
The following expenses will be fully reimbursed:
- Visa application fees
- Residence permit fees
The following fees will be waived:
- Participation fee (including tuition and insurance fees)
- Administrative fees
Important Notice
To ensure diversity within each student cohort, no more than two students from the same country may receive a scholarship in the same academic year. Please bear this in mind if your scholarship application is not accepted.
The SPOT Governing Board is responsible for the final selection of students and the distribution of scholarships. For further details, please refer to the Selection Procedure section.
Diversity and Inclusion Allowances
Additional funding is available for students with special needs or those requiring inclusive mobility support. This funding covers special accommodation, assistance during travel, adaptive learning materials, specialised equipment, or an accompanying person.
To apply, select the appropriate box when applying. The programme coordinator will follow up with more details on the available support and necessary documentation. You will need to provide a signed declaration outlining the required support and its associated costs, along with confirmation that these expenses are not covered by any other funding sources. In some cases, a certification from a national authority may be requested.
Important: Do not include any medical diagnoses or supporting documentation in your application.
