Student Advisory Panel
Participation and involvement are the cornerstones of the ‘SPOT’ master's programme. This is why we have woven students from each partner university and the Erasmus Mundus Students Association (EMA) into the very fabric of the programme’s development. We believe that students should play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of the 21st century, ensuring that the programme resonates with the needs and aspirations of today’s society. This vision gave rise to the Student Advisory Panel (SAP).
The SAP is a vital source of independent advice and guidance for both the Governing Board (GB) and the Quality Management Board (QMB). It offers recommendations on programme design, development, and implementation, taking into consideration the students’ needs and experiences. The SAP consists of at least one master’s student in psychology from each full partner university and a minimum of two Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) representatives, ensuring diverse and inclusive perspectives. Following each meeting, the SAP chair delivers a comprehensive formal report to the GB and QMB, detailing an evaluation of the programme’s current state and offering insightful recommendations. The GB and the QMB have an obligation to discuss the report of the SAP at the earliest date required for efficient decision-making and implementing useful changes into the study programme and its design and organisation.
