FAQ

Yes, for your application to be considered, your academic credentials must be evaluated and verified by UniAssist for the SPOT programme in the Winter Semester of 2026/27.

The Evaluation Report that you receive from UniAssist must be submitted with your application to us. Evaluation Reports for other degree programmes and/or semesters are not accepted.

You can find a sample Evaluation Report on our website (see more).

To get your academic credentials verified by UniAssist, go to the UniAssist online portal (see more).

Adjust the search filters by removing “Summer Semester 2026” and adding “Winter Semester 2026/2027”. Search for the term “SPOT”.

Make sure you provide UniAssist with all the necessary personal and educational information. UniAssist should list all the documents you need to upload. If anything is unclear, please contact their support team. Generally, you need to provide school and university certificates. If your documentation turns out to be incomplete, UniAssist will contact you.

Please note that UniAssist requires several weeks to process your documents, and unexpected delays should always be taken into account. To ensure that you receive your Evaluation Report in time for your application through our application portal (the current call closes on 23 January 2026), you must submit all required documents to UniAssist by 2 January 2026, at the very latest.

As the SPOT programme is taught in English, you must provide proof that you have achieved English proficiency equivalent to level C1. The following certificates are accepted:

  • IELTS
  • TOEFL
  • Duolingo
  • Cambridge CAE
  • Medium of Instruction Certificate, i.e. an official confirmation from your university stating that your previous degree was taught entirely in English.

Only proctored exams are accepted. You are responsible for ensuring that the overall score you submit corresponds to the C1 level. This information can be found on the official websites of the language test providers.

You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, recognised by the EU as a 1st cycle degree. Without this academic qualification, your application cannot be accepted.
